Ordinance Review Program
A group of citizens approached the Martinsville Crime Watch with the idea that updated Ordinances are important for a functioning community on multiple levels. And we agreed!!
These citizens are currently working to review the Ordinances for both the City of Martinsville and Morgan County, Indiana. They are working in conjunction with City, County, and State officials in order to put forward Ordinance drafts that reflect our local values.
We believe that updated Ordinance language will be both a help to our law enforcement and to our citizens. Ordinances are important for setting boundaries on what kind of society we want to cultivate and what type of environment we want to promote.
